Major cock up this week!

I messed the recording up, ending up with a barely listenable take, which was such a shame as its a great show packed with gamin goodness.

Spike has tried his best at making it listenable, but we realise it's still not too good or comfortable to listen too, with Centy being about 20 times louder then me.

But, as we try our hardest to give you a show each week and as this one is such a good 'un we're going to whack it out anyway, just with this warning, hey, it's the Radio Ninty way!

Anyway, in this show we chat about Madworld, the GBATemp Homebrew Bounty, GRID, Eternity's Child and a whole heap of other stuff.

Next week we will try our best to make everything as good as we can as it will be our exciting Leipzig preview as well as our NES feature, which we held back, so you still have time to get involved in the thread!

12/08/08: Homebrew Bounty

Category: General
Posted by: Stuart

Our friends over at GBATemp have recently set up the Homebrew Bounty.

The aim of the bounty is to reward homebrew devs (primarily on the DS at first) with cash prizes at the end of every month.

Prizes sorted out so far
1st prize: $200 (from GBAtemp) + bounty donations
2nd prize: $50 (from Dev-FR.org)
3rd prize: $30 (from Nentindo)

It's a great idea and one which we here at Radio Ninty will be following closely, if we can get more games with the quality of WordUp, StillAlive DS and Tower Defense then it has to be great!

More details can be found over at GBATemp, and you can also discuss this in our forum too.

One of those bonkers episodes for you to enjoy this week.
An excitable Stuart, a Scottish Centy and a welcomed guest Rivaoni babble on about the utterly incredible Geometry Wars 2, Windy x Windam, Rhythm Tengoku Gold and Korg DS.
Also features the usual news and homebrew along with a look back at some Launch GC games.
Apologies for the sound issues throughout, but it's worth bearing with them as it's a great show.

20/07/08: Win Doodle Hex

Category: Competitions
Posted by: Stuart

Time for another awesome Radio Ninty competition, we simply will not be happy until every single one of you has got something free off us :)
In fact Centy can't sleep at night knowing there are still some of you who haven't won anything.
And we can't have a restless Centy can we?

So, how do you win yourself a brand new copy of Doodle Hex?

Simple.

We want you to review a game and post that review up on the forum somewhere.
It can be any game from the system of your choice, such as DS, Wii, PS1, VCS, Gamegear or Jaguar.....
It just has to be decent and posted in the correct section of the forum.

The best review (in our opinion, based on no particular thing, just more of how we're feeling come Friday..) posted this week will then win its author Doodle Hex for the DS.

You have until Friday 25th July to post your review up, and feel free to post more then one up, it might just tip the balance into your palm!
